about me

somatic movement educator + therapist

Welcome Friend ⎯ I'm so glad you found me here in my humble corner of the internet, and am delighted to be connecting with you across space and time. What I hope to offer here is a glimpse into my process and practice of embodied self inquiry. My research is primarily centered around the question : what is the experience of being alive in this human form? I study the many facets of Self ⎯ in all of its multiplicity, relationality, qualities of consciousness, embodied forms, and emptiness. I am curious about this body vessel and how it translates and transmutes our lived experiences; how our soma (or living body) has ways of knowing beyond itself; how our sensory experience shapes our perceptions and therefore is the center through which we interpret and relate to the world. I am interested in the ways we can expand our view of the body as beginning and ending with our own isolated form ⎯ but rather, awaken our connection to the collective body and understand that we are a small part of a larger system of a larger body that is all of us.

I see my work as being a nexus of creative-healing practices that invite both a returning home to our wholeness and an expedition of new inner terrain. I offer one-on-one somatic sessions, in-person classes / workshops, and a variety of virtual experiential resources. Below you will find more information about my somatic sessions. If anything sparks your spirit, please do not be a stranger and reach out to inquire further or say hello. Thank you for being here, and thank you for being you ♥︎

somatic sessions

my somatic sessions are a place to discover the wisdom of your living body through learning the language of feeling, sensation, and embodied imagination.

You will be guided to turn your attention inward to internally sense the body and open the subconscious mind, exploring your inner relationship to self.

These sessions are successful in restoring self connection, developing greater internal congruence, and healing ruptures in relationship to self.

What to expect : Sessions are a blend of verbal and nonverbal processing, with the opportunity for movement, stillness, silence, and real-time somatic practice. You can expect to walk away with a deeper felt-connection to yourself and some somatic tools and practices you can work with on your own time.

  • learn ways to express and articulate one’s emotional and physical experience
