Frequently Asked Questions

What is Awakening Body?

Awakening Body is a self-paced online course. All of the material is pre-recorded content composed of audio, video, and PDF files.

Who is Awakening Body for?

Awakening Body may benefit those who identify as a:

Creative - who want to explore an embodied approach to connect with the subconscious mind and awaken creative energy.

Therapist, Healer, and/or Teacher - who want to learn somatic tools to support their students/clients, and practice their own self resourcing.

Soul centered human being - who values exploring their inner world, expanding their perception, and developing a deep connection between mind and body.

How long does it take to complete the course?

Since Awakening Body is self-paced you have the luxury of moving through the modules at whatever pace feels right for you. There is approximately 6 hours of material accumulated over the three modules. My suggestion would be to do the course from start to finish over the span of 3 weeks (1 week per module). After completing the course you can go back to review and repeat the material at any time.

How much does the course cost?

If you are to purchase the Modules separately they are $24 each.

If you know you'd like to invest in the full course you can save $9 and purchase all of the Modules together for the price of $63.

What do the somatic practices in Awakening Body look like?

You can think of the somatic practices to be like a kind of movement meditation. The language I use is meant to guide your attention to sensation, feeling, and image. You will be encouraged to move your body organically and intuitively. You will NOT be asked to perform and specific kind of movement or form (such as yoga or dance). This is an exploratory process that invites you to be free and creative with your body!

Do I need to have prior experience?

Awakening Body is best for those who have some experience with practices such as meditation, body work, yoga, mindfulness, somatics, dance, or martial arts.
